Sarah was surprised but I had tried to call her earlier so she kinda had put two and two together that I might visit her. Still, she was surprised. I got to tour the greenhouses and check out all the flowers and stuff she planted, etc. It was pretty cool but by this time I was really burning up. Luckily I had half a bottle of water in my saddlebags which surprisingly even having been outside was cool to my lips and I finished off the bottle. (I am about to finish up bottle #2 as I type this).

When I was leaving the neighborhood that the greenhouse is located in, there's a 4 way intersection that meets at the top of this hill. Whoever designed that, needs shot. Anywho, I'm sitting at a stop light about the same time a little old lady drives up to her stop sign. I wave her to go ahead. So she's just staring at me and the entire time her car is just drifting backwards. I found it to be quite commical and eventually she got the clue that the biker dude wanted her to go first. LOL.

I'm starting to notice a trend in city traffic at lights. You have people who have no beef with getting right up on your butt or you have those who give you 2 car lengths. They must either expect me to spontaneously combust and blow their vehicles up or maybe they think I'm going to wipe out. Either way, I like having room all around me while I'm on my bike. :-p.

So, I'm on the interstate going 65-70 near the Bel-Air Rd exit and some dude in a pick up truck either can't decide if he wants to be in two lanes or one. It just so happens half his truck is in the fast lane and the other half is in my lane and he's coming up pretty quick. Thank goodness for mirrors, I had to bail to the rightmost side of my lane or he might have clipped me! Almost had half a nerve to shoot him the bird but I decided against it. I don't feel like participating in road rage against a cager.
