For those who may or may not know, my dad is the one who got me into riding motorcycles. He had a late 90s or early 2000s Honda Magna. At one point he had 4. Now he's just down to two and they are the old school early 1980s v65 Magna's. He's got one in Arizona and he just brought home one from North Carolina. This bike was the fastest production motorcycle from 1985-1989. Top speed of 173mph and can do a quarter mile in 10.92 seconds. So what does all this have to do with my motorcycle blog?

I got to ride it. The bike has 6 gears and actually displays what gear you are in. I was surprised to find out it had 6 and the meter showed "OD" which stands for Overdrive but for those hardcore magna fans out there, this really stands for "Oh damn!" lol. I didn't have a lot of road to actually open it wide but I did go from 0-60 in about the time frame where I could blink. It is outrageously fast.
