In response to: What is that sound?! OH MY! It's coming from the motorcycle that I almost ran into!

An excellent read and some important issues made. I truly do still think about the subject of your blog post (’What is that sound?! OH MY! It’s coming from the motorcycle that I almost ran into!’) in some ways misleading though. The fact that merely a modest percentage of people will likely be affected to my mind doesn’t cause the measures used here.

Craving not only complicates things but also frustrates the people wishing to lose weight. It may sound boring, but the baked potato diet can become extremely varied, because of the amount of fillings you can add.

Hey Mike,
I’m really into the the Vulcan 750 as well and I’m currently looking for one at a good deal. I’ve been researching the bike and found that a huge issue here is the shaft drive needing lubrication. Have you even attempted this? There is actually a step by step on the vulcan 750 forums. Looking forward to more of the 750 vlogs. Good luck!

I work for Toyo Tire North America, and the Japanese look at motorcycles alot different than American companies. Not only do we have special “small” parking stickers, we also have our own motorcycle parking, at the entrance of the parking lot, so you don’t have to drive down the isles and get smacked!!!

Hey Mike! Really enjoy your Rebel videos. I was wondering, couldn’t you just buy the service manual for your Rebel and fix it yourself? I mean the Rebel is a pretty simple bike to work on. Sometimes you’re better off ordering the parts through BikeBandit.com and doing the job yourself. This way you’re back on your bike in a hurry.

Thanks for all the Rebel info!

I cannot believe people do this immature driving, and if one is on a motorcycle, it is 4 times more deadly than if one was driving a car. Did you at least catch the plate? Oh by the way, nice Rebel.

I don’t know if I just misunderstood, but where you pointed to would not be a good place to put the stickers as your fork sliders will run over it. You need to put it on the slider (the lower, fatter portion). If you were putting them there, just disregard my comment. Did you try putting some clear packing tape over it or something?

I hear quite a few people around here use the word “ignorant” in that fashion, too.

In response to: I'm going to get some gas....

Hmm.. I have never heard “nailing jello to a tree” but it sounds difficult… and pointless, which I guess is the point of the phrase.

But yes, I have heard and on occasion use the phrase “as all get out". I don’t use it very often since I feel that it is somewhat misused.

Around here, almost local to the county, people often substitue the word ignorant for rude. If someone does something rude like flipping you off, or purposely taking your marked food from the shared fridge, then you can call that person “Ignorant". “I think that’s just ignorant". In a very weird way it almost makes sense… while the person is typically aware that they are doing purposely doing something they shouldn’t be doing, they are ignorant that doing wrong is the wrong thing to do… puzzle that one through.

For all your moving around and experiences in different places, you have been awfully sheltered when it comes to classic children’s books, common phrases (I still can’t believe you’d never heard “as all get out” or “nailing jello to a tree” until recently :P), and foods that just about everybody has at least heard of if not actually tried. But don’t worry pookie, I’ll get you caught up on everything. I’ve already exposed you to all kinds of foods you’d never tried before and made you read lots of children’s books. hehe

I have always loved that book. However, I’ve found that too many people have not read it. Sometimes people will go into a story as to how they went out of their way to give someone a break or help them out, and the recipient of their kindness keep expecting even more. I almost invariable will respond.. “Well, if you give a mouse a cookie…” and leave it at that. I usually get very confused looks from that.
