So there I was, on my way to work. I spotted you out of the corner of my eye as you were about to merge onto Interstate 20. I didn't know it was you at that particular moment....
Augusta State University TICKETED MY MOTORCYCLE AGAIN! This is the 3rd time this school year. I am getting MAD! All is explained within the video.
This happened about a week ago and I'm going to go ahead and write about this now. I have had many incidences in the past with people who don't see me and they try to merge into my lane. I can somewhat forgive that, because they aren't really looking out for me. This particular incident, the driver of the car KNEW I was in the lane next to him. We had been playing "leap frog" on the road for a while, ie, I'm going a constant speed and he's speeding up to pass, then he drops down, and then I pass him... yeah you know the type.
There are special moments while on my motorcycle that you just can't get in a car. Cruising out of my neighborhood on my way to work today, I suddenly hear, "IT'S A MOTORCYCLE!!!!!!". I look over, and sure enough there's about 3-4 kids in a yard and they are all eyes glued to me. So I wave to em all and make my bike go vrooooooom for them. Kids are just too much fun. :)
As we all may know, yours truly is a college student. The local uni here has motorcycle only spots on campus that is reserved for bikers. This is a good thing as generally speaking, most of the spots are pretty close to where I have class. Now, last semester I had walked out to find a ticket. This was back in September and you can read about that HERE . Now, if you are still reading this after not having read that previous link, go back and read it. I'm serious! So, if you have really read it, then we'll continue.
